This functions as both a play group and a social network. Parents enjoy some adult interactions while the kiddies play on the floor. It’s great to get other moms' perspectives on parenting topics and can be very comforting to have another mother say, “Yes, I’ve been there and this is what worked for me.” All new parents and babies welcome! | · Running Group This is a go-at-your-own-pace group for parents wanting to run or walk on Thursday and Saturday mornings. The group meets Thursdays at 6 am at the Ratner track (56th / Cottage Grove) and Saturday mornings at 8 am by Istria Cafe (under the Metra tracks on 57th), departing at 8:15 individually or in small groups. Parents are welcome to bring children, but the focus is on adult exercise.
